Due to the lack of wifi the last few days, my blog has suffered. The next 4 posts will all be posted at the same time probably causing some confusion. If it helps, Day 9 was MY last Thursday (America's last Wednesday).
Our time here in Brisbane has been much slower, which has been a nice change of pace. We were able to have a little time yesterday morning to ourselves before we embarked on a river cruise tour around the river to see the sites of the city. The tour pointed out various important buildings, both new and old. It included history of the city and highlighted important events that have happened in Brisbane since it’s inception in 1859. After the river city tour, we ventured into the city a bit more than the day before for some lunch and exploration. Inside the city, we found it to be a bit more bustling. Later that night, as a group we headed to the Brewhouse. It was a great restaurant a bit down from our hotel that brewed their own beer (hence the name).
